BRIDGR Announces Completion of $1.6 million Seed Round
Montréal, Québec, Canada, April 4th, 2023 – BRIDGR Group, (BRIDGR or the “Company”) a technology company based in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, has completed a $1.6 million round of financing to support the continued development and commercialization of its innovative technology that is disrupting the market as they redefine how consulting firms conduct assessments and collect data. Leading the seed round was Anges Québec, with participation from Investissement Québec as a representative of the Government of Québec, ACET Capital, Stoute Street Ventures, and several angel investors, including Philippe Telio, founder of StartupFest. This round of funding will allow BRIDGR to fast-track its growth and expand beyond Canada.
“We are delighted to witness our work being acknowledged and financially supported. In 2022, our company successfully pivoted its product focus, and the recognition and awards received in response serve as tremendous motivation to keep pursuing excellence.”, stated CEO Amira Boutouchent and CTO Mehdi Drissi, co-founders of BRIDGR.
The support of the Government of Québec was realized through the Impulsion PME program, for which Investissement Québec acts as a representative.
“Impulsion PME was launched to support companies seeking investment capital. The financing round announced today attests to the success of this collaboration within the innovation ecosystem,” stated Pierre Fitzgibbon, Minister of Economy, Innovation and Energy, Minister Responsible for Regional Economic Development and Minister Responsible for Montréal and the Metropolitan Region
“Québec’s technology industry is a key sector of our economy and helps make it stronger, more competitive, and more sustainable. Through the Impulsion PME program, Investissement Québec is pleased to support promising young companies like BRIDGR as they grow and develop new expertise across Québec. “BRIDGR looks very promising to me with an effective and concrete solution already used by several institutional clients, supported by a talented and dynamic team with a great concern for client satisfaction and business development.” – Hugo Privé, co-lead of the Angel Round, with Patrick Nadon.
“Digitization of the consulting sector has lagged behind other service sectors, and BRIDGR offers a next-gen tool for consulting practices to improve their internal efficiencies and processes.” Clay Gordon, Partner at Stout Street Capital
BRIDGR has recently made significant progress in its platform by incorporating artificial intelligence to send customized self-assessment links to businesses’ clients. The state-of-the-art tool is designed to adapt to each respondent by identifying and sending relevant questions based on their profile, resulting in tailored insights. Following this, the platform generates a personalized score and recommendations for the individual, their team, and their company, provided by the tribe knowledge of the client’s collective and updated in real-time. This allows for increased alignment between team members and across the entire organization.
